About me
If enthusiasm was an Olympic Sport, I would have received a gold medal by now, but alas, being excitable doesn’t really get you any medals. What does it do? It creates an endless platform for learning and sharing that enthusiasm with others. My unique and interesting career history brings a lot to the table too. The most attractive aspect though, is how much I have learnt about business because of my diverse history and the people I have had the great honour to work for and with. They have been my endless source of wisdom. All these elements combined have led me here to this next adventure, where I get to share my love and enthusiasm about business and marketing and create a platform for you, the Business Owner to educate, apply and hopefully improve your business knowledge and skill. Allow me to be part of your business journey and Lighten the Load. An International Coach for Small Business Owners everywhere.
A bit of educational background for you, I studied Corporate Communication in Johannesburg South Africa 22 years ago and loved everything about it. Over the last 20 years, I worked in many diversified fields within different marketing and PR roles from banking to manufacturing to retail. I have worked with local and international clients and my biggest strength was customer engagement and onboarding. 8 years ago I had an epiphany and realised business is so much more than just marketing and PR. I moved over to the family business where I got down the nuts and bolts of running a very successful business. The hands-on practical leadership experience I gained is what finally brought me to coaching. If everyone could spend a bit of time with someone who has been in and around small businesses her whole life while having experience working in corporate, agency and a heap of other environments, well why not!

Session 3: Let's talk business (this is the fun part, you get to tell me about your business, where you are and where you want to be, we set three short term business goals and one long term business goal).
